NOTE: On 8/22/2025, a change was made to the H3 and H6 headings where they are no longer in all caps. This was based on feedback and updated accessibility best practices. The first letter of the first word is capitalized, and all other capitalization will be based on how you enter the text.

Where do I start?

Heading block is a WordPress block that helps you structure your page and make it more readable. Demonstrations and how to use the block can be found at their website.

Accessibility Tips

  • There should be ONLY 1 H1 heading on a page. The page title is the H1 heading.
  • Headings should not be used to style text on a page.
  • Please do not skip any headings. Think of headings as a outline of a research paper

Heading Examples

There can only be one H1 heading on a page and it is located in the page title.
