When presenting resources from the Solutions website, you have several options. You can:

• Add one of three custom resource blocks to your page.
• Link text directly to an individual resource.
• Link to a filtered list of resources.

Examples of each option are provided below.

Linking Directly to a Resource

The recommended approach is to link text to a resource’s details page on the Solutions website. Linking directly to the resource rather than uploading or duplicating the file on another website helps ensure visitors always access the most current version, preserves download and usage metrics, and reduces the need to maintain files in multiple locations.

For example, you could link the text “Learn about the best plants, edibles, trees, and turfgrass in our state“ to the resource details page.

To find the URL for a resource, open the resource on the Solutions website and copy the address from your browser’s address bar. The details page URL is the preferred link because it provides visitors with access to the resource as well as related information, download options, and updates maintained through the Solutions website.

Linking to a Filtered List of Resources

You can also link to a filtered list of resources generated from the Search Our Solutions page on the Solutions website.

To create a link, select the filters you want to use. Once the website displays the resources that match your selections, click the Copy Share Link button. You can then paste that link anywhere on your webpage to direct visitors to the filtered list of resources.

For example, you could link to a collection of resources from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics about Beef Cattle.

This approach is useful when you want to provide access to a group of related resources rather than linking to a single publication or resource.

Using Custom Resource Blocks

UTIA websites also include three custom blocks designed specifically for displaying Solutions resources. These blocks allow you to showcase individual resources, groups of resources, or filtered resource lists directly within your content.
